It was a terrific conference, and the papers were of a high quality. What were your favorites?

To share some highlights with folks in my office who were not able to attend, I wrote a summary of sessions I attended. I didn't skew it to "favorites" but I found something to say about each one...except for David Fidlers'. I wasn't yet tuned in, being the first session, and I didn't remember enough to write a comment. If anyone is interested, or if it's appropriate, I'd be happy to post this for other APT members. Let me know...

Please do post summaries of the papers you heard Ilene, but it would be easier to maneuver if you made each summary a separate post.

If I can attach a word file, then my 3-page memo might go here with little additional trouble. But, can we attach files? Otherwise, it seems rather tedious to cut out each paragraph to post on the bulletin board. Another option is to send it thru regular email, but then that defeats the purpose of this as a bulletin board.
Since many who read the memo don't know APT folks, I don't list everyone's names (the speakers) but I try to make it clear which topic is discussed, should anyone want to look it up in the program. |

It is fairly easy to cut and paste whole documents onto this board. many people have done so, including me. I encourage you to do so if you don't want to cut in separate paragraphs. I also see that there is an option for attaching a file at the bottom of this reply screen. If you click the "Choose File" button you will go to your hard drive to select a file. Now, having said that, I prefer that people not attach Word files, or even pdf files, but rather enter text on this board to facilitate quick reading.
