I have attached this document, for the use of the members, and... to test the use of the BB. Marilyn and I are working to put the glossary developed by David Look on the BB. We need to get some permissions for some proprietary terms and then will get it on here.
Some of the things we're working on currently. Setting up a second committee conference call to further discuss using NFPA standards for designs other than those specified in the standards. NFPA 13, 13R and 13D. The first conference call on that subject was 7/20/2005. Diana Waite contacted us about a Bulletin issue on Codes in 2007 or 2008. We think it is possible to have enough material sometime early in '08 for such an issue. Possible topics could be on the sprinkler topic noted above, Marilyn has been working on Main Street issues, I have been working on a number of cases dealing with the ban of wood shingles in fire prone areas of California and, I'm sure there are other issues burning on your desks (so to speak) to be written up. Tom Winter Tom I am looking for references on the history and repair and retrofit of Hollow Clay tile. |
